Getting Inside the Art of Magic: The Gathering

This is Neo Kamigawa, where Japanese mythology and
technology has merged. 1200 years have passed since we last
visited this plane.
Let's step into the concept art of "Towashi" and "Boseiju", and
enjoy the art exhibition that encompasses the city.

Magic: The Gathering's Card Art <br>Created by a Total of 83 Artists

In this exhibition, you can grab and see 134 illustrations that were created by 83 artists.
These artists include Tetsuo Hara (the manga artist of "Fist of
the North Star"), Yoji Shinkawa (the Art Director of KOJIMA
PRODUCTIONS Co., Ltd. ), and Katsuya Terada (the character
designer of "Kamen Rider W").
Please take a moment and have a closer look at each artwork.

Evolving Art Experiences in Virtual Reality

We are providing a new type of art experience in this exhibition.
By grabbing the artwork, you can hold and see cards in your hand, read artists’ comments, and view behind-the-scenes rough sketches.

About Virtual Art Exhibition

What is Magic: The Gathering Virtual Art Exhibition - Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty - ?: This is a new type of interactive art exhibition where you can experience the virtual
reality world of Neo Kamigawa in "Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty" which will be on sale
February 18th, 2022 (Friday).

You can enjoy playing and interacting within an artistic atmosphere that showcases the illustrations of 83 artists.
In addition, this gaming feeling is shared with users all over the world using PCs and VR devices.

When will this event be held?: Event will be held during the date and time below.

Start Date & Time: Feb. 18th, 2022 10:00 AM JST
End Date & Time: Feb. 24th, 2022 9:00 PM JST

How do I play?: You can play this using Windows 10 and/or VR device.

Is there any admission fee?: No. Admission to MTG VR is free of charge. The exhibition is open to anyone who is interested in experiencing it.

Is re-entry to the venue possible?: Yes. You can re-enter the venue at any time during the event period.

Is there a limit to the number of visitors?: Yes. We are doing our best to welcome as many visitors as possible, but if there are more participants than expected, we may have to set some attendance restrictions.

I got an "Under Maintenance" message. What should I do?: We will give an update on this page as soon as the maintenance is done.

How can I apply for the SPECIAL CAMPAIGN to win the poster autographed by Tetsuo Hara?: You can apply after collecting 134 cards + a special card (=a total of 135 cards) exhibited in this virtual art exhibition.
Then enter the necessary information on the application form.

When will the winners for the poster autographed by Tetsuo Hara be announced?: It will be announced by the beginning of March.
Please note that only the winners will be contacted.

About how to play

Can I experience this with my friends?: Yes. You can share this experience with up to 12 friends on the same channel.

Can I look around by myself?: Yes. You can also enjoy all of the venue completely by yourself.

What should I do if I get separated from my friends?: Please use the channel function. Please note that you may be relocated to another channel apart from your friends when the channel capacity hits the maximum of 12 users. In that case, please use a different/new channel to reunite with them.

I can't hear other people's voices. What should I do?: The Mic default setting is mute.Please check the Mic ON/OFF setting and/or adjust the volume in the Volume setting.

Can I take photos in this exhibition?: Yes. Photo shooting is one of the functions that can be used in this exhibition. There are also zooming and selfie options. Please enjoy taking pictures and refer to the following for the save destination for Windows PC or VR device.

Is it possible to respawn?: No. You can't respawn, but you can go to a new channel and restart from the entrance.

I was forced back to the title screen even though I was logged in. What should I do?: Please try logging in again.
You may be sent to the title screen if you play more than 4 hours.

Can I post images and videos on SNS and other media? Also, can I live-stream the app?: You can post images and videos taken in the app on SNS and other media. You can also live-stream the app. Please enjoy it with your friends.

I can't hear any sound. What should I do?: Please make sure that the volume settings on your OS, speakers, and VR device are not set to mute.
Also, please check the volume settings from the menu in this app.

I was forced back to the title screen after setting Oculus Quest2 to sleep mode. What should I do?: Please try logging in again.
The app uses real-time communication. You may be sent to the title screen if your device goes to sleep mode.

The app seems to be sluggish. What should I do?: Please restart the app.
If the problem persists after restarting, please delete the app, reinstall it, and press “Clear Asset Data” and “Delete Videos” before starting again.

The video stops while I am watching it. What should I do?: The size of some images and videos are big. Depending on your internet connection, it may be difficult to watch them.

The app will not finish downloading or loading. What should I do?: When you first launch the game, it may take upwards of ten minutes to download depending on your internet connection. Please wait while the download is in progress.
For VR devices, it may not download properly if the device goes into sleep mode during the download. Please adjust your sleep mode settings.

When I start the app in VR, the screen becomes completely black and the title screen appears on the left, right, or behind me. What should I do?: Please try resetting the angle direction by pressing and holding the home button.

My PC is slow. What should I do?: Please switch to "normal" graphic settings in the menu.

Virtual Reality Mode does not work with Windows 11 on my PC. What should I do?: Please play it on Windows 10. Otherwise, please play it on the PC or Quest2 only.
